Moni George ( Co-Founder & CEO, YooCo | Property Owner )

   

Moni has a post graduate degree in Computer Science from Pune university. He also holds an MBA degree from the prestigious Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.

In a career spanning more than 25 years of senior management experience across the globe, he has performed multiple roles in business development, delivery management, sales, client management and P/L.  In his earlier role as Head of the IT team in a leading organisation in Qatar, he spearheaded the launch of several new IT products and services (Cloud, Mobile, Analytics, Oracle, SAP, MS, ESRI etc)  in Qatar, East Africa and India. He played a key role in establishing several JV/Partnership firms in East Africa, Oman and UAE. He has successfully managed a large delivery, sales, marketing and finance team across multiple countries. He has also been instrumental in building solutions for several verticals.

During his tenure, the organization became a leading SI in the Middle East and East Africa region and received several regional and international awards for sales, product development and service delivery capabilities. Profits and revenues grew to US$ 100 million in 2014.

As a member of the board of several local and international universities in Qatar,which offered diplomas and degrees in Information technology,  he has collaborated with universities who wanted to tap into his vast experience and knowledge in the IT industry

He was instrumental in the set-up of a large 250 seater, Offshore Development Centre in Pune, and headed its operations for 10 years.

Since his return to India in 2014, he has set-up his own startup and  is pursuing his passion of mentoring young, enthusiastic IT professionals in startups. He has also invested in a few startups and in the growing real estate market in Pune.

Now Moni has decided to merge his two interests by offering an innovative top quality coworking office space for IT start-ups, which will not only provide coworking spaces but also the opportunity for budding entrepreneurs in Pune to become part of a mentorship program and obtain funding by connecting them with leading angel investors.

Reena is a senior banker with 25 years of experience in various areas of banking in a multinational bank in Qatar. After obtaining a bachelors degree in Commerce from Mumbai University, she started her career in the government sector and then moved onto banking in India.

After migrating to Qatar in 1991, she started her career in a multinational bank in Qatar, where she proved her strength in areas as diverse as retail banking, financial planning, human resources, operations, operational risk and compliance. She was instrumental in setting up the first retail banking back office operations for her organisation in Qatar. She headed various regional and global teams during her tenure in the HR department. As a member of the regional Compliance team, she was responsible for ensuring regulatory and audit compliance of the Global Banking team in Qatar

She has also been very active in various local and international charities.
